Cris welcomes clients with openness, authenticity, encouragement, and respect.
She values the variety of experiences, backgrounds, and culture that each client brings into the session. Her clinical experience includes working with affair recovery, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship conflict, couples with different cultural backgrounds, and members of the BiPOC community. She also works with clients through grief, crisis, infertility, and life transitions.
Cris practices from a Family Systems approach and utilizes various techniques to support clients in their healing journey. She sees couples, teens (ages 13+), adults, and families. Cris received her Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary and earned her Bachelor's Degree from California State University, Fullerton. She’s trained as a Relate Strong Facilitator (marriages) and is working toward her certification as a Christian Sex Therapist through ABCST.
