Jennifer Erickson
Graduate Student Intern
Jennifer will earn her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in Winter 2025. Jennifer is a Graduate Student Intern supervised by Mercedes Burk, LPC-S, LMFT-S. She received her bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University in Human Services, specializing in Social Work.
Jennifer was born and raised in Colorado but has lived in Texas the past seven years with her husband and children. She has a heart and passion for therapy because she herself has seen the power and benefit of therapy in her own life. She has had the privilege of her career being focused on at risk-youth, children, adolescents and families. She has a heart for children who have encountered trauma and individual’s needing a reminder of their strengths to help them achieve their goals for an optimal life. Jennifer is also interested in pursuing training to become a Registered Play Therapist. She can help you navigate the challenges life brings with life-events and relationships and the emotions that come with being a human being. She would be honored to walk with you in any journey of life you may be on and help you take charge to create your own story.
